In honor of the 5th Anniversary of the
Seti@Home project, I'm sponsoring a contest.
Running
June 2 - July 31, each contestant will be eligible for the following prizes. Winners will be selected from the highest workunit output during this time (ie. if you're already a member of Team Dream.In.Code, the prior units won't count).
- 1st Place - Choice of an 80gB HDD (SATA or EIDE) or Sony DVD Burner
- 2nd Place - The remaining of the prizes above
- 3rd Place - Once copy each of Contact by Carl Sagan and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
There is also an 'Honorable Mention' prize forthcoming. Details on it will be coming in ~2 weeks.
