I don't do graphics too often, but on the occasion that I do, I'd like to share them.
Problem is, I suck at writing graphics tutorials~ and I often don't have the patience to take about 50 screenshots detailing every step of the process.
So would it be possible to get something like a graphics repository? Basically, upload a quick screen shot (jpg) of the graphic, and the psd~
I don't mind moderating it. I've got a lot of free time on my hands (unfortunately)
I think the community has got quite a lot of good graphic designers, and they deserve recognition.
@Nykc: Yeah, screw you. Just kidding~ basically, what I mean by "the psd" is anything which stores the information of modifications: layers, effects, opacity of layers, etc.
EDIT: Oh yah, btw: It could have a little bit to add terms of use, or instructions, or whatever, if you know what I mean? Like the instructions bit in the snippets section. kthxbai.
Maybe the person should post the final result in the forums first, and if enough people approve, he should be elligible to submit the PSD (along with the final result picture) for the 25 kudos.
So pretty much the responsibility of grading the work will go to the larger userbase, instead of taxing the mods/admins who are already at work approving code snippets and tutorials. The mods/admins will only have to accept it.
EDIT: Also, have the user screenshot their PSD and add that to their inital forum post. We don't want PSDs with only Layer 1 containing the finished work, do we? XD

Oh so screw anyone that uses GIMP or fireworks huh!
No, I believe Gabe would agree that people who use other graphics programs would still be able to upload their stuff for the "snippet", it would just be a little different.
Maybe add a drop down of the various graphics programs out there that we accept images from and then the user selects from those which one they used to do their image... If that makes any sense.
