I'm in need of a quote for a project I'm working on.

I'm estimating I need around 100-150 images made for a site I'm creating.

The images will be 35x35 pixels. Most will have transparent backgrounds. The ones that don't have a transparent background will be in a Hexagon shape (Yes, it's going to be a game).

It's a fantasy medieval game so there will be swordsmen, archers, mages, etc... The units, we'll call them, don't need to be detailed but they do need to come in different colors and you must be able to tell what they are, archer, mage etc... If more information is needed, let me know and I'll do a stick figure for ya.

Anyways, as I said, I'm interested in a quote for this if someone is interested in working with me. Just submit me some sample work at the email in my profile, preferably of the theme I'm going for.

Since I'm being very general about the amount of work I need, provide me with a per image cost or an hourly rate or however you would prefer to do it.

This is not a rushed project as I'm doing it for fun.

If you got questions, ask please.

Thanks.

35x35, you say?

Hmmm, I just had a go, and it took me about 10 minutes just to draw a sword sleep.gif
Note: I'm not a graphics expert.

I'll finish this which is *my first attempt ever* and post it here. (provided I'm not ashamed of it) If you're interested, then we'll talk monetary. smile.gif

EDIT:
Pretty sucky, but for a first attempt, I'm quite happy with it laugh.gif

Here's the actual size (35x35)

And here it is enlarged:

I didn't do a face, but I could if necessary~ This was just a test, more than anything smile.gif

I tried to reply to your message, but it said your inbox is full or disabled, so here's my reply:

That's really good in comparison to what I tried doing biggrin.gif

Just curious, what did you use to create that image and what is your graphic design background?

I used Photoshop, though the tools I used mean it could have actually been done in paint tongue.gif

As for my graphics background, I haven't done much more than a few people's signatures here at </d.i.c>

Here's my photobucket, mind the junk tongue.gif
