Hello Dream In Code!

I have a few ideas and would love to get some feedback...

We are creating a website based on Flash Gaming and Development. Not just another copy-cat flash game site, we will be trying to provide social networking features that will continue to entertain you every time you visit.

Some notable features:

*Play! It’s that simple. Without needing to sign in, enjoy the newest and most popular flash games on the web, as well as old favorites and classics. Each game will provide support for user reviews, comments, voting, version updates and changes, and more, but you will need to be logged in to enjoy these features.

*Member Benefits! Member accounts will provide a full-on experience system, enabling the ability to network and communicate with other members, post reviews and comments on games, vote on your favorite games to make them more popular, access the forums, and gain other perks depending on the "level" of your account.

*Account Rank/Level Perks – Some perks include the ability to post a message on the main page, the ability to create a friend list to see who is currently online and see what game they are playing, and user profiles and blogs with links to your submitted games, audio, or artwork.

*User-Submission Gateways! Login and submit 'BETA' games for feedback: user reviews and comments, testing, ideas and player suggestions for further development.
Depending on demand, a gateway for user-submitted audio and graphics/art for flash game development will also be implemented. This provides another networking option on our website – providing a framework for collaboration between programmer, composer, and artist.

*Sleek, clean design that invites members to spend extended periods of time logged in, always providing an enjoyable experience.


We plan to make this the ultimate website for Flash Games and Development and User Interactivity. If you have any ideas or comments that would make this more of a success than we already expect, please tell us!

Ive been looking for a place to get some project feedback for a LONG time.

Don't want to hate on your idea, but it would seem as though you're recreating Newgrounds, but if you can do it better and rival them I say go for it.

Well GrimPirate. I believe we can.

We are not going to be focused on movies at all, which is newgrounds' primary concern. Love the site by the way, been going there since Mid '00.

There are other Flash game sites that are PRIMARILY focused on flash games only. The only feature we are going to implement that is pretty much newgrounds exclusive is the 'portal' which will be handled a bit differently.

Allow me to stress the fact that this is a site focused on 2 main principles:

-Providing Flash Gaming entertainment on the web
-Creating a FUN service for all flash game developers that allows the collaboration of programmers, composers, and artists.

Lets say you are programmer working on a project, but need better level design, character design, maybe even music. You name it, you can find it on our website. Upload your incomplete games for critiquing, etc. I won't unnecessarily repeat my first post, but you get the idea.


Anything you DIC.net users can think of that would make this better? Possibly something Flashing Game sites DONT have? Or something you think would be better off different from the way I described?
