urgent information needed, info on applying for masters degree in the us

Joined: 10 May, 2007 Posts: 6,465 Thanked: 66 times Dream Kudos: 2425 Expert In: Goofing Off My Contributions	It depends on the college & if they are an accredited college. You'll need to check with the school where you have your current degree, & find out it's details. Then you'll need to check with what school you wish to continue it at, & make sure they are both accredited. That's how it works here, anyhow. Some schools will gladly give you a junk degree, that you cannot continue on with.

Pick a school or two you are interested in attending, visit their admission page, read up on the international admissions. Once you have perused the literature send an email to the admissions office and ask. Chances are you are not the first student from India to wish to attend a graduate school in the US and so they should have a basic familiarity with the policies.
