So, normally, I do all my coding in Firefox and add in separate styling for IE 7. However, my current client uses IE 6 at work and IE 5 at home. While it would be much simpler to tell her to "update the software".... I can't. I have to code it until she is happy with it as she sees it.... and it's also gotta work for the rest of the world as well.

That being said, the site is http://boyercandies.com. Everything works fine in Firefox and IE 7, but in IE 5 and 6, the top of the page is just background - all brown, chocolately, background image goodness across the whole screen. When you finally scroll down enough to find the actual page content, the area with the large blue buttons is aligned to the left underneath the "Made in the USA", "Allegheny Mountains" and "The Chamber" links.

I have searched the crap out of Google... and searched the crap out of DIC... and I'm not finding any solutions that seem to actually work.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.... this is a big money client and I NEED to make her happy.

Thanks!
- B9

Based on what I've heard about IE5, you may want to consider switching to a tabled design - I haven't heard anything at all about IE5 playing nicely with CSS/table-less design.

I'll agree that it's a horrible way to go, but I can't say I've heard about anyone getting a table-less design to work with IE5 and all the other browsers nicely.
