I'm trying to export my database to a new installation on a new server and I can't get in to phpmyadmin to perform the export. I have the correct phpmyadmin password which gets me the mysql 1045 error. I've checked the config.inc.php file and the username and password for mysql are both correct and the auth_type is "config". I can login to mysql directly with the mysql query browser using the username and password in config.inc.php.

One thing I noticed is that when I first get the 1045 error it says using password "no" but if I click the open new phpmyadmin window at the bottom I get the same error but this time it says using password "yes".

Please help.

Okay, very weird but after clicking open phpmyadmin in new window within the subsequent new window it lets me in. Very strange, but at least now I can do my export and dump this server.

Thanks
