Hi there...

Thanks for anyone who replies~ I hope i posted this in the right place. I was informed VBScripting was very similar to Webdevelopment..to post question here..I'll do my best to describle what I would like help with...

Ok, I am using a software that I can make games with, the software, is made for Windows. I just basically got it, so I'm only just understanding it myself. In order to make actions happen, in the games the coding required is vbscript..All the controls I use are equivalent to vb6.

LoadControl Textbox(1) this sort of script.



Anyhow, what I do, is import pictures into Frames..and make hotspots on the frames..and I can either put code into the Frame Properties or the actual Hotspot Properties..
You can work with Integer variables and Variant variables.
As well as Call Global Procedures..
Also have access to plug-ins too [components], flash, 3rdperson, a few others.
I make point and click games. The software is designed for this. you also have an inventory..that the user can play with.


In any of the games I make, I put buttons like "enter" "Ok" ..Exit..this sort of thing. The buttons are equivalent to what you may see in any mail applications . I may edit them a bit.

Anyhow ..the buttons make no movements at all..
I put code in them so they react..meaning If the user hits the "OK" button an action happens..but the button itself doens't look like its moving..up and down or shadowing or anything.

I have asked before the forum where I got the software from ...if this was possible..the only reply I have ever recieved was yes..probably. I gather its a long procedure to do this. I have no doubt of t his actually~


Anyhow I appreciate any replies or feedback..I apologize in advance If I posted in the wrong place.

It would be really cool If i can get this to work..or If this is even the right forum for me to come and get help with anything..~

I understand it may not be possible being as I'm working with a software I suppose, this is speculation of course..I sure hope I can..~
