I fixed the last couple FireFox3 related bugs here at DIC this morning so we're all set for FireFox 3.0 prime time on Tuesday! I've been running the beta since Beta 2 I believe and I honestly love some of the new features, especially the smart address bar.

I'm going to have to get used to "tagging" my bookmarks, but I did it all the time with del.icio.us so I think I can manage.

It's a LOT faster than FireFox 2.0 and that makes me (and DIC) happy.

Here's a "Guide to FF3" for those that aren't up on all the new features: http://www.dria.org/wordpress/archives/2008/06/12/655/

FF3 drops Tuesday morning and hopes to break a world record for most downloads in a single day.

It will still be there after initial launch lol. It's only a free browser download.

I've been running it as my browser since it was in early beta...

It a big improvement over 2.0 as long as the extensions you use are updated.

I love the history features. It's like running a google suggest search through your history.... I also like how it tracks your most visited pages and suggests them first. So all I need to do is type in "dream" (or really just "dr") and it knows I want to come to DIC.

I can't wait until download day.... I'm going to do my share, maybe even a bit extra ;-)

I haven't used Firefox 3 yet, I'm waiting for a few of my extensions to get updated for it first.

I like the address bar feature though when I did try it in beta a while ago.

I download Firefox 3 when it was in the beta 4 stage. In my opinion, it's the best web browser out there. All the pages i visit regularly seem to do just fine in Firefox 3. The only bad thing is half my add-on's from 2 won't work yet.

Unfortunately I'm not too impressed with FF3 as of yet, NONE of my themes/skins work, 75% of my plug-ins don't work, some sites I visit regularly wont even load in FF3, and I don't notice it being any faster than 2 (though they say it's the fastest version yet, yeah right!). In fact, I'm so disappointed so far with 3 that I'm thinking of going back to 2

I think i'm gonna stay with 2.0 for a while, because most of my extensions won't work on the 3.0 beta out....
