Hi,

I want a desktop application to use it @ my work. I want it to be able to do the following tasks :

1- Access a directory on C:\. This directory will have more than one sub-directory, the application will check the names of these directories then compress the directories which starts with a certain prefix, for example ( sales_ ) i.e. the directories names are ( sales_5_2008 ) - ( sales_6_2008 ) - ( products_6 ) ... the application will compress only the directories which starts with (sales_).

2- The application is required to compress those directories in one ZIP file and send it to a certain email address.

3- The directory parth, prefix and email address are not inputs from the user, it will be in the code of the program.

4- There is no need for an installation wizard. Just when the application is run, it is required to do the previous tasks only.

5- The source code is required on delivery of the project with an explanation of how can I modify the parameters and interface of the application.

Please tell me if you can do this job and what is ur fees.

1. When do you want your project to be completed?
2. Do you want the application to be written in any specific programming language?
3. Does your desktop PC at work have its own SMTP server?

Depending on the time constraints, I might consider it.

1- I think one week is enough for this project, what do u think ?

2- C or C++ are preferred. But I do not want the application to ask for .NET framework to run.

3- I can provide you a HOTMAIL account information so you can use the SMTP info for hotmail to send the file from this account. Is that working ?
