how to edit .fla file, flash designing

I got some free web flash templates, which include.flash.fla and swf files. The animations include default company names and other text items.

I haven't found any alternates in the freeware and shareware listings. Can anyone here recommend any software who might do the changes?

Try adobe Flash, it works wonders at editing flash .fla files
</sarcasm>

Um, well Flash is the best choice by far for editing and changing flash files (especially .fla files) because it was made to work with them. I am not sure if there are any other programs out there that are able to edit them and save them while keeping the file integrity and making sure everything works.

IDK if there are freewares.. but I think you should buy it.. and it does cost a lot..

-Adobe flash cs3

you could try swishmax it has a trial version and it is pack with premade flash animations, templates, etc.. but IDK how to use it.. RTFM.. if ever..
