Hello all, I am getting into ASM for fun and research.
I understand it now quite well and I can code my code =)

after reading lots of stuff I found out that you can do Rapid GUI Development with MASM. Using Resource Files.

As I dont want to stop with NASM (Since it also works on Linux) I wonder. How can I use a Resource File (or something like that) with NASM?

Thanks =)

Robin

...you can't really do rapid development with assembly. I mean think about it!

You can do GUI programming in assembly but it is not really fun. People do it mostly to say "I program GUI apps in assembly" as if this makes them more badass than the rest of us.

I know this post is not very helpful, but it just seems a little odd to me to want to do GUI programming in assembly. Compilers giving too much overhead for you?
