Does anyone know how much ram i would need if i get 1000 visitors daily to my site or if i get 10000 visitors daily to my site?

That's a very open ended question. The visitors alone won't govern the usage of your systems resources, however what they are DOING will. Will they be accessing mysql or php? How much server side activity will they have? Or will they simply be viewing text & pictures?

A server most likely doesn't need more than 16gb RAM, however, as no2pencil said, it depends on what they are doing.

For instance, I have an in-house LAMP box that has less than a gig of RAM and works for everything that I need it to do, so it just depends on wht you need the server to be able to handle.
