My Contributions
Well I am in the process of changing my site. I'm going to concentrate more on blogging, and of course have an area to advertise my services/work. Can I get some constructive criticism on the new look I came up with. This is just the image representation as I have no cut into a site yet.

I wanted some suggestions, hints, etc before doing that. Thanks smile.gif

P.S: I got a feeling this is the wrong forum but I posted here since it is just the graphics I'm talking about now smile.gif

Pretty sweet! and yep let B9 talk to you.

You asked for constructive criticism:

Not sure if i like the screws, i am not keen on them but it would look quite blank in the corners, unless you made your banner like 10 - 15 px smaller.

I like the choice of colours, the purple/violet is very nice indeed.

Just looked at the design again and decided i do like the screws but the top screws may need tidying up slightly e.g. the white stroke bit.

But this is just my opinion.

Looks good!

But I have to agree with the screws comment... they look a little out of place... but the corners would be very empty if you removed them.... maybe give the background a metal feel... metal and rivets...... and I think the purple would look great over a dark silver... just my opinion though biggrin.gif

But overall, I think it looks fantastic!

I like the color scheme, I agree with B9, you should give it more of a metallic feel.

Looks good, now make it come to life.

Not bad, the screws look out of place, I would take them out completely to simplify the design.

The layout is complex for a blog but it looks decent, I might make the header text a little cleaner. I really dig the buttons, including the little RSS one, awesome.
