I think the site could do with a nicer logo - I can't put my finger on what it is, but something about it looks ugly to me.

Yes, i agree with gira.

a new logo needs to be done as its not, well , attractive.

The rest of the site is fine .

Although try to centre the navigation as there is not symmetry e.g its more left alligned than right.
