My initial oversight of the site, said that could be refined if some effort were to be taken by the owner to do that.

1. Many of the descriptions don't make sense or are hard to read (with ..'s everywhere).
2. Many of the posts don't get relevant replies (if any) about programming (all I'm really concerned about).
3. It is just an install of SMF with a new theme, maybe an installation of the TinyPortal mod with an original theme could give it a nice, portal looking feel.

Although there is community on the site, it doesn't seem to be used very well; most are just signing up, introducing themselves and leaving because they aren't getting prompt welcomes.

That is just my two cents. smile.gif

No offense, but I don't care for it. It looks very cluttered and sterile. I'd start by customizing your graphics and layout, use a little more color and a little less white/light gray.
