Driver Development, Were to start?

My Contributions
I was wondering if any of you have an experience (or would know where to start) in driver programming. USB, RS-232, even Parallel would be a good start I would assume. Anyone know how to go about learning?

Walter Oney does training, writes books, and so on. You should also get the DDK.

Like with anything else, Id' suggest starting off simple. Twiddle some lines on the parallel port while concentrating on your debugging and tools understanding. Then, tear through the other samples ...

If you are looking into XP I found that Oney's books aren't the most friendly to people just staring out.
For books I'd recommend
1) DDK
2) Mark Russinovich - Windows Internals 4th ed.
2) Peter G. Viscarola & w. Anthony Mason - Windows NT: Device driver development
(This is for nt 4 and maybe 2000, but it is full of good information)
