Trying not to sound too much like a sales pitch - but i stumbled on something really cool if you run you own web site.

You probably run ad sense to make some cash right? This advertising network is like ad sense but instead of text ads, its audio ads

the service hasn't launched yet - the ads will start playing on February the first 2008.

The main advantages are these
- doesn't take up any ad space
- short 5 second audio ad
- you get paid for every page view
- put it on as many or as few sites as you like
- paypal payouts
- only $25 minimum payout

Take a look at it it really sounds legit - and they claim to have partnered with one of the big 5 search engines.

What do you think?

they wont tell us yet - a "strategic move"

probably smart...

anyway, it still seems like a great concept like a ppc add, but it doesent take people away from your site, and you earn on every visit

I'm gonna leave this, but I'm editing out the referral code in your URL. You're welcome to share ideas on how to monetize a site, but it should be a personal recommendation, not one driven by affiliate revenue.

sorry about that - forgot to make it clear that those were referral links

What if i gave both non referal and referal links? to make it clear to people and give them the option to just go to the main page

Good point. I hadn't looked at the site, but I see what you mean now.

I have a huge problem with this because any form of unexpected audio coming from websites dramatically reduces the user's internet experience. Bad decision for anyone who wants visitors on their website.

Also, "and they claim to have partnered with one of the big 5 search engines."
